The new online store of the "B. Papantoniou" Museum

The first shop of the Folk Museum of Nafplion was launched in 1974. The only products available were postcards of artworks from the museum’s first exhibition, “Peloponnesian Costumes”.

In 1981 the architect Costis Adamopoulos configured the ground floor of the Museum to host the exhibition "The Production, Elaboration and Use of Natural Fibres in Greece". That same year, the PFF (now BPF) won the European Museum of the Year Award (EMYA) for new or renovated museums. The museum shop was transferred to a room that opened to the courtyard and expanded with new permanent stock.

As the building and the exhibitions of the Museum evolved, so did the museum shop. Today it is located on the ground floor of the “Β. Papantoniou” Museum. It features a carefully curated selection of high concept gifts at affordable prices in an alluring and cheerful setting.
