The "Mesologhi Collection" (1826–2026)

Commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the Historic Sortie of Messolonghi

Following the legacy of its iconic neckwear, "Pagoni Maison des Cravates" — a historic Greek brand renowned for its sartorial elegance and fine craftsmanship — introduces the "Mesologhi Collection." This refined accessory represents an elegant fusion of Greek history, art, and contemporary design.

Following the rich heritage of its iconic neckwear since 1933, the Pagoni Maison des Cravates & Pagoni Moda group announces its official collaboration with the Municipality of the Sacred City of Messolonghi as the Official Licensee for creating a limited-edition series of commemorative silk ties and women's scarves, honoring the 200th anniversary of the Sortie of Messolonghi (1826–2026).

The collection is deeply inspired by the spirit of the "Free Besieged" (Eleftheroi Poliorkimenoi) and the heroic legacy of the Sortie.

The laurel motif is directly inspired by the gold-embroidered laurel wreath on the celestial canopy ("Ourania") covering Theodoros Vryzakis’ iconic painting “The Sortie of Messolonghi” (copy from the workshop of Archdeacon Demetrios Kasolas, 1933).

The inner tail of the tie features a specially designed wreath enclosing the commemorated historic date: "10 ΑΠΡΙΛΙΟΥ 1826" (April 10, 1826).

In support of the local community, a portion of the proceeds from the sales of these limited-edition accessories will be donated to two charitable institutions in the Sacred City of Messolonghi: "PANAGIA ELEOUSA" and EPSYPEA (Association for the Psychosocial Health of Children and Adolescents).
